The staff of Four Corners Community Nursery would like to welcome everyone to the 2009-10 school year. It is great to see returning families as well as new families joining the 4 Corners Community. This newsletter will be sent home with your child once a month. Please read it, as it will contain important information. It will also be posted on our website.
I hope to get to know the families over the next few weeks. If you don’t see me in the hallways or at the front door in the mornings, please feel free to stop by the office to share an idea, concern or just to chat.
STAFF CHANGES
4 Corners would like to welcome one new staff member. Amy Martin will be working
on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays with Nanci Schaefer. Mrs. Martin had both
her children attend 4CCN.
PARKING
All 4CCN families are requested to park in the large parking lot on the east
end of the building (next to the playground). Please do NOT park along the
driveway in front of the church or in the handicapped spaces unless you display
a handicapped permit. The small lot facing Woodmoor shopping center is for
church and school staff only. Do not park in Woodmoor and walk over to school.
The shopping center will tow.
EARLY DISMISAL
The first two weeks of school, September 8th – 18th, the 3 and 4-year-old classes will be closing at 12:15 pm. The children will still be eating lunch at school. The two year olds will follow their own calendar.
PLAYGROUND
We encourage families to use the playground after school. If you remove the sandbox covers, please make sure that they are recovered when you leave. This is a Health Department regulation.
HANDBOOK
Please read the 4CCN Handbook that you receive from your child’s teacher. This has some very important information. Also, please keep this as a reference throughout the year. If you have additional questions, please call the school.
