Is your child heading off to kindergarten in the fall? If you plan on sending your son/daughter to public schools, please

call your designated school for registration information and an orientation schedule.

4CCN CAMP

We still have a few spots open for both weeks of camp. We are very excited to bring camp to 4CCN. You can register online or

stop by the office. We hope you’ll join us!

2026 – 2027 SCHOOL YEAR OPENINGS

Your recommendations are our best advertising!

We still have openings in our 2’s classes. We have 2 spots remaining in our 3’s classes. Our 4’s

classes are currently full and on a waiting list. If you know anyone who may be interested in

learning more about 4CCN, please have them give us a call so we can set up a tour.

SPRING CONSIGNMENT SALE, THANK YOU!

A huge thank you to Brianna Teller and Tiffany Lay, our amazing consignment chairs, for all of their hard work in making the spring sale a huge success.

This year’s consignment sales totals were our highest post Covid sales on record! Their determination, marketing skills, and organization were instrumental in the success of the sale. Thank you for all you do. Words cannot adequately express our appreciation. Thanks to Donna for doing the accounting for the sale. We appreciate you! Thank you to all of our families for volunteering and making the sale a success. We appreciate you working

the sale after a long day. I am so grateful that we are able to come together to do this. I appreciate all of you and your efforts! We are looking for 2 parents that would like to learn the ropes and take over the consignment sale in the future. If you are interested, please stop by the office and let me know. Our Fall sale is scheduled for the Week of October 5th. Mark your calendars.

BUTTERFLIES

Our caterpillars are set to arrive the week of April 13th. We are excited for the children to learn

about the life cycle of butterflies.

The Butterfly by Margaret Rose

I know a little butterfly with tiny golden wings,

He plays among the summer flowers and up and down he swings,

He dances on their honey cups so happy all the day,

And then he spreads his tiny wings- and softly flies away.

APRIL SNACKS

The children will enjoy the following snacks this month: Goldfish and apple juice, Animal

Crackers and apple juice, Cheerios and yogurt, and 4CCN Trail Mix. Please let your child’s

teacher know if you do not want them to consume one of the snacks.

IN–HOUSE FIELD TRIPS

One of the many benefits of our semi-annual consignment sale is that it provides the funding for in-

house field trips. Last month we had Mystic Drumz and The Maryland Science Center visit us. On April 8th we are excited to have Squeals on Wheels set up a farm animal petting zoo for us to explore. On May 6, we will have Under the Sea, a learning adventure of what lives

in the Chesapeake Bay. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you if you don’t normally attend on Wednesdays. We want everyone to enjoy these special learning opportunities.

PARKING LOTS

The parking lot is extremely busy during drop off and pick up times. Please hold your child’s hand at all times.

Please do not let your child run ahead. Drive slowly when coming and going. We want to keep everyone safe!
